Ulmus procera vanhoutti (syn. Glabra)
Ulmus glabra 'Lutescens' is an eye-catching, golden-foliaged Elm with a wide spreading habit. The Golden Elm is a very impressive shade tree that can create foliage contrast in larger parks, gardens and properties where there is space for it to develop to its full potential. It makes a lovely specimen tree, upward spreading when young and becoming dense and broadly rounded as it matures. The Golden Elm has a moderate growth rate with bright greenish-gold, broadly obovate leaves. Rough to the touch on upper surface. In spring, the new growth is a pale lime-green turning yellow in autumn. 10m x 12m
