Betula x 'Royal Frost' has glossy, deep burgundy red leaves from spring to summer and lovely white bark once established. (The white bark can take 3 - 4 years to develop.)

Unusually for a birch, the leaves can turn vivid shades of yellow, orange or red before falling in autumn

Prefers full sun in well drained, fertile soil, growing 8m x 6m at a moderate rate.
