Betula youngii

  • Betula pendula 'youngii' - Weeping Birch is an elegant weeping form of the silver birch grafted on a 'standard' to form a graceful tree with long sweeping branches. Very effective as a specimen in parks and gardens where it has space to spread to its full potential.

Growing to 2.5m x 4m, it prefers a moist, well drained soil, but will tolerate relatively wet or dry positions and poor soils. Adaptable to pH.
