Gleditsia tricanthos inermis 'Sunburst' is a broadly rounded tree growing 10m x 10m with spreading, pendulous branches sweeping towards the ground. An attractive shade tree, Sunburst has a semi-weeping habit and soft golden new foliage turning deeper yellow in autumn.

It will tolerate some winter waterlogging, but grows best on well-drained soils in a complete pH range.
