Koelreuteria paniculata is an elegant, slow-growing small tree 7m x 4m.

It has green pinnate leaves that turn bronze to gold in autumn until late into the season. In summer it produces chains of bright yellow flowers. After the flowers papery lantern type seed pods form hanging from the tree in large clusters.

Golden Rain Trees grow best in full sun, are relatively drought-tolerant and perform well in most soil types.
